Last week we went to the island south of here - Caye Caulker (pronounced "key" Caulker).  It's a pretty low key place that, we were told, is much like San Pedro was 15-20 years ago.  When we left in the morning the skies were clear and sunny.  Unfortunately, as soon as we arrived on the island it started to rain....and rain....and rain!!!  We stopped for lunch, bought a few umbrellas and sweatshirts, and we headed for the next ferry back home.

Check out the color of the water!

This guy was at the gift shop we visited.

This is the view through the window of an art gallery that we visited.
